Short descriptionTanks are constructed in high‑quality stainless steel with casters and brakes and a wide neck opening for easy specimen handling. Units support liquid or vapor phase storage and include automated control and monitoring for secure, efficient cryogenic sample preservation.
OverviewThe BNC-S Series offers automatic, secure and reliable cryogenic liquid nitrogen storage systems for biobanks and clinical laboratories. Advanced vacuum insulation, adiabatic technology and high vacuum retention minimize liquid nitrogen consumption while maximizing usable storage volume. Vapor storage maintains uniform temperatures (≤ 10 °C difference across the storage area) and the top rack can reach temperatures as low as −190 °C. Integrated control provides convenient operation and safety features for routine lab use.
APPLICATION RANGEDesigned for long‑term static preservation of a wide range of biological samples including stem cells, plasma, semen, embryos, tissues and organs in both liquid and vapor phases.
Product Advantages- Big storage capacity - Optimized internal geometry stores more samples per footprint compared with similar units, reducing space and cost.
- Excellent temperature uniformity - Vacuum‑insulated stainless steel construction with high vacuum retention ensures superior thermal insulation.
- Stable open‑lid temperature - Innovative lid and reduced neck opening lower LN2 evaporation; internal temperature remains ≤ −150 °C within 48 hours even after prolonged open lid periods.
- Advanced temperature monitoring system - Microprocessor control with vertical double platinum RTD probes provides real‑time temperature display (±1 °C) and configurable alarms with mute option.
- Automatic filling & liquid level monitoring - Differential pressure level sensor enables real‑time liquid level display and safe auto‑fill operation. 10‑inch LCD touch screen shows top/bottom temperatures, liquid level and system status.
- Hot gas bypass - Removes warm gas before filling so only liquid nitrogen enters the tank, reducing temperature fluctuations and LN2 consumption during fills.
- Human‑centered design - Stainless steel auxiliary table for temporary racks, folding step to lower access height, and spare openings in internal trays to retrieve dropped samples.
