Biobank Series provide users with automatic, secure and reliable cryogenic liquid nitrogen freezing systems. Tanks are made of high quality stainless steel, equipped with casters and brakes, and wide neck opening for easy to pick and place specimen. Specimen could be stored in liquid or vapor, and control system provides high convenience and security. To achieve the most economical operation, our design ensures the lowest consumption of liquid nitrogen and the maximum storage capacity of the specimen.

• When stored in vapor, temperature difference across storage area does not exceed 10 °C; top rack lowest temperature can reach -190 °C.

• Stable open cover temperature: Innovative lid and small neck opening design greatly reduce liquid nitrogen evaporation rate; even with lid open for long time temperature remains stable; temperature not higher than -150 °C within 48 hours.
• Advanced temperature monitoring system: Microprocessor-based control and vertical double platinum resistance temperature probe displays realtime temperature with accuracy ±1 °C. User-settable alarm temperature and alarm mute option.
• Automatic LN2 filling & level monitoring: Differential pressure sensor based level monitoring displays real-time liquid level to ensure safe and reliable automatic filling. 10-inch LCD touch screen displays top/bottom temperature, liquid level, and operating status.
• Hot gas bypass: Removes warm gas before LN2 filling so only liquid nitrogen enters tank, preventing temperature fluctuations during filling and reducing LN2 consumption.
• Human-centered design: Stainless steel auxiliary table for temporary placement of racks, folding steps to reduce operation platform height, spare openings on internal tray for recovery of dropped samples.

Application range
