PEN conductor
In a TN-C system, using a PEN conductor saves a separate protective conductor (PE) and associated pole. This reduces installation complexity, material cost and panel space while maintaining neutral and protective functions in a single conductor. According to applicable rules, the PEN conductor must respect a minimum cross-section and must not be interrupted.
