Sine-cosine potentiometer for precise motion control and mathematical applications The SCX22 is a high-precision conductive plastic potentiometer specially developed for applications requiring precise angle measurements, coordinate transformations and vector calculations. Its sinusoidal and cosinusoidal output signals enable the calculation of precise angular positions and the transfer of movements into x-y coordinate systems. The combination of a lifetime of over 50 million revolutions, a 360° electrical rotation angle and the robust metal housing construction makes the SCX22 ideal for control systems in demanding environments. For continuous rotation applications, additional counters can be used to accurately measure multiple rotations. The optional oil filling provides additional protection for harsh operating conditions.
