Precise hybrid potentiometer with a long lifetime The multiturn potentiometers in the AL24 series combine the advantages of wirewound and conductive plastic technology. Thanks to the hybrid resistor technology, the series offers almost infinite resolution and a particularly low-noise signal without winding jumps. Thanks to the smooth resistor surface, the potentiometer is characterised by a particularly long service life of over 10 million revolutions. With a compact Ø20 mm housing and low installation depth, the AL24 is ideal for applications with high precision requirements and space-constrained environments. The series is available with electrical rotation angles of 1080° (3-turn), 1800° (5-turn) or 3600° (10-turn). The AL24 can optionally be fitted with mechanical limit switches. These are activated within the electrically effective angle of rotation (360° × n) and enable direct signal feedback when defined positions are reached. The following variants are available: CW+CCW: Limit switch for both directions of rotation CW: Limit switch for clockwise rotation CCW: Limit switch for anti-clockwise rotation Options: Electrically effective angle of rotation: 1080° (3 turn), 1800° (5 turn) or 3600° (10 turn) Resistance values: 1 kOhm to 100 kOhm Independent linearity: ±0.25 % (optionally up to ±0.1 %) Shaft adaptations: Various geometries and lengths
