Robust multiturn potentiometer for precise control tasks The AL20 series combines a robust and precise design with versatility. With a Ø20 mm plastic housing and a rotary movement of up to 10 turns, it offers a reliable solution for applications that require high precision and stability. Thanks to a seamlessly moulded housing and two plain bearings, the AL20 series offers exceptional stability that is not available with conventional potentiometers with only one bearing. With a service life of up to 2 million revolutions, an optional slipping clutch, an available 3-turn version, and optional limit switches, the potentiometer offers exceptional versatility. Optional limit switches that are active within the electrically effective angle of rotation (360° × n) can be configured for additional control tasks. Available types are: CW+CCW for both directions of rotation, CCW for anti-clockwise and CW for clockwise. The AL20's design, which omits a centering collar, allows for flexible positioning of the potentiometer. This feature offers advantages in applications with limited installation space and facilitates mechanical integration for specific project requirements.
