Product overview
Digital 3-axis sensor for detection of very small vibrations in the measurement ranges ± 0.1 ... ± 8 g. Ideal for monitoring wind turbines and industrial machinery. The analog acceleration sensors of the ACC570x series are suitable for static and dynamic acceleration measurements. They measure acceleration on one, two or three axes. These sensors are frequently used where highest precision is required under harsh environmental conditions. The complete electronics are housed in a sealed aluminium die-cast enclosure and rated for operating temperatures up to 125 °C. High temperature stability ensures high measurement accuracy even with large ambient temperature fluctuations. The enclosure provides excellent immunity to interference under increased EMC requirements near electromagnetic fields.

Applications
Thanks to a high signal-to-noise ratio, the analog sensors of the ACC570x series detect very small accelerations as occur, for example, in tower vibrations of wind turbines, bearings, or in test and calibration rigs. Due to their strong EMC resistance the sensors are also suitable for precise condition monitoring of electrical machines such as generators. Combined with high temperature stability, the sensors are therefore used in wind turbines for monitoring vibrations on drivetrains, rotor blades (ice detection) and generators (noise reduction).
