The engine used in this device is a water-cooled, diesel Perkins 1103 C-33TG3. The GE 55 PS EAS has a synchronous and brushless STAMFORD UCI 224 D alternator. The GE 55 PMS EAS has a synchronous, brushless MARELLI MJB200SB4 alternator. It is silent and operates at a power of three-phase 46KvA.
It is supplied with CEE sockets as standard and is ready for use with an AMF-ATS unit (EAS).
