Presentation
The DM2 1/2D INERT is a single-phase ATEX industrial vacuum designed for safe collection of combustible and flammable dusts in ATEX classified areas 20 (indoor) and 21 (outdoor). Equipped with an inerting system using a neutralizing oil bath, a category M primary filter and an absolute HEPA H14 filter, it neutralizes and captures hazardous fine particles while complying with EN 17348.

Detailed description
The unit features a single-phase by-pass motor of 2.3 kW providing a maximum vacuum of 2 500 mmH2O and an airflow of 360 m3/h. The motor head is certified IP64 for enhanced protection against dust ingress. The tank is made of AISI 304 stainless steel with a total capacity of 44 litres (37 litres dedicated to the inerting liquid). The chassis is epoxy-painted steel and the assembly is mounted on industrial wheels for mobility and stability.

Inerting system and safety

• Neutralizing oil-bath inerting system to render aspirated particles inert.
• Removable deflector tube and overpressure valve for safety in case of abnormal pressure rise.
• AISI 304 stainless-steel basket and PPL filter for oil mist.
• Reusable neutralizing oil.

• Integrated vacuum gauge for real-time monitoring of filter condition.
• Manual filter cleaning system.
