Overview
RESI-KNX series gateways provide bidirectional integration between a KNX installation and external controllers or devices. Variants support MODBUS (RTU/TCP) or simple ASCII command interfaces and offer physical interfaces such as RS232, RS485 and Ethernet to adapt to diverse automation environments.

Power supply
The RESI-KNX-PS device supplies a KNX bus with a maximum of 160 mA and is intended for small KNX installations.

Functionality

• Bidirectional data exchange between KNX bus and external controllers or systems.
• Integration using MODBUS protocols (MODBUS TCP or MODBUS RTU) or via ASCII text commands.
• Support for MODBUS slaves and ASCII-capable devices via RS232, RS485 or Ethernet (MODBUS/TCP).
