INTRODUCTION
The OGC series CNC cylindrical (external) grinders OGC-1224 and OGC-1624 are built for precision external grinding of shafts, rolls and mould components. X and Z axes use precision ball screws with servo drives and the machine is controlled via an integrated CNC with graphical user interface to simplify program editing and setup.

HYDROSTATIC LUBRICATION SYSTEM
▪ Table and wheelhead slideways use automatic hydrostatic lubrication to improve smoothness and feed precision.

WHEELHEAD CONSTRUCTION
▪ Grinding wheel spindle manufactured from SNCM-220 alloy steel with normalization, quenching/tempering, carburizing and cryogenic treatments followed by precision grinding and mirror finishing; surface hardness > HRC62°.

WORKHEAD AND TAILSTOCK
▪ Work spindle fitted with precision bearings
▪ Servo-driven workhead for stepless speed control
▪ Tailstock with oil-bath lubrication and oil level gauge.

DIAMOND TOOL HOLDER
▪ Tailstock-mounted diamond dresser available
