OverviewSliding-head automatic lathes in the Swiss GT family designed for turning long and short parts. Standard equipment includes an automatic lubrication unit, swarf tray and a high-volume removable oil pan. Models cover three maximum bar diameters: Swiss GT 13, Swiss GT 26 (25.4 mm) and Swiss GT 32.
Main advantages- Ergonomic, modular access to all tool positions
- Operation with or without guide bush
- Optional B axis for extended machining capability
- Optional simultaneous 5-axis machining
- Modular tooling system on rear platen
- Simple setup and maintenance features
- High-precision turning capabilities
Variants and capacitiesThe Swiss GT range comprises models Swiss GT 13, Swiss GT 26, Swiss GT 26B, Swiss GT 32 and Swiss GT 32B. Swiss GT 26 and Swiss GT 32 accept up to 40 tool positions (including 14 driven tool positions on standard 26/32 layouts); Swiss GT 13 accepts up to 30 positions (including 12 driven). The Y axis in counter-operation increases secondary machining capacity and enables production of certain complex parts without additional rework.
B axis and special configurationsThe B axis (option) significantly extends the capabilities of the Swiss GT 26B and Swiss GT 32B. These B-axis versions provide a modular position that can accept either a fourth rotating drilling station or a dedicated thread-whirling head, enabling more complex features in a single setup.
