Automatic Swiss-type sliding-head lathes supplied with a complete standard equipment set to support production of long and short turned parts. Ergonomic layout provides easy access to all tool positions. Standard items include an automatic lubrication unit, swarf tray and a large removable oil pan. The range comprises Swiss GT 13, Swiss GT 26 and Swiss GT 32 with maximum diameters of 13 mm, 25.4 mm and 32 mm respectively.

Features and functional description
The Swiss GT 26 and Swiss GT 32 accept up to 40 tool positions including 14 driven tools; the Swiss GT 13 accepts up to 30 positions including 12 driven tools. The Y axis for counter-operation increases secondary-operation capability and enables some complex parts to be completed without additional rework. The modular B axis (option on 26B and 32B) significantly extends machining capabilities: the modular position can accommodate either a fourth rotating drilling station or a thread-whirling head. Simultaneous 5-axis machining is available as an option to expand multi-sided machining capabilities.
