OverviewThe SwissDECO G is a Swiss-type sliding-head lathe with a double platen configuration and nine linear axes. The secondary platen includes a Z axis to perform roughing and finishing, frontal operations and deep drilling, and to enable differential-mode machining. The machine integrates three independent tool systems and accepts pre-settable modular devices and tool systems. The double platen layout reduces chip-to-chip times for high-productivity turning operations.
