The XC/TC Series Test Transformer Control Box (Control Console) is an auxiliary device designed for use with XC/TC test transformers. It provides straightforward operation, easy maintenance and reliable protection for on-site electrical testing in utilities, industrial plants, metallurgical facilities, power stations and railways.

Use and Maintenance

• During acceptance, verify main control-circuit wiring is secure and the voltage regulator brush has good contact.
• After long storage, measure insulation resistance with a 500 V megohmmeter before use; value must be ≥ 0.5 MΩ.
• Ensure supply voltage matches the input value on the cabinet nameplate.
• Cabinet includes overcurrent protection preset at 80% of rated current; for low-load testing, adjust to match the tested product's rated current.
• After operation, close the cabinet cover to keep the interior clean.
