| Following the state-of-the-art trend in automation for decentralized systems without professional cabinets MTM Power has designed the new series PM-IP67A with 50, 75, 100, 150 and 200 W. Remarkable feature of the primary switched modules is that they are suitable for applications with protection degree IP67 for different tasks in indoor and outdoor industrial applications. Without any additional protection against harsh environmental conditions these power supplies manufacturer can be mounted and used just at the place where needed. The compact power supplies with AC and DC wide input range are designed for worldwide use and are available with single and dual outputs of 5, 12, 15, 24, 36, 48, ±12, ±24, ±36, ±48 and 12/24 VDC. Their dimensions are 166,0 x 85,0 x 35,0 mm and they are connected via 7/8" interconnectors. Transformers with motor-driven tap changers can be controlled with automatic voltage drivers.
Actuation of the motor drive leads to a voltage change by one tap. If the difference between actual voltage and set-point exceeds a certain limit, a regulation comand ("up", "down") is initiated.
SPRECON-E-C-AVR can be adapted to customer-specific requirements to the greatest possible extent. Moreover, several units can be operated in parallel mode, which is based on the master/follower principle. Thereby, the circulating reactive current is monitored.

| The product family PMG/PCMG with DC input voltage completes the range of primary switched MTM Power Modules. The modules offer an input range of 20...72 VDC and allow - due to the different types available in this series - efficient solutions in numerous application fields. They are available with single, dual or triple outputs. The single and dual (sym.) versions are UL 60 950 and UL 508 approved. Dimensions are 90,5 x 65,5 x 33,5 mm for PCB-mounting (PMG) and 120,0 x 65,5 x 33,0 mm for chassis mounting (PCMG). Thus, they offer the same dimensions and pinning as the standard AC/DC and low voltage modules of the same wattage range which allows the customer to design only one layout for standard AC, low voltage and DC input. The vacuum encapsulated devices offer an isolation of 3,3 kVrms and comply to the up-to-date EN standards as regards CE conformity. Further features are rugged design, SMD-technology, automatic 100 % final test and 100-%-burn-in-test. | XP Power announces its JCA series of miniature, board-mounted low power DC/DC converters. Measuring just 1 x 0.8 x 0.4 inches (25.4 x 20.3 x 10.0 mm), the device's shielded metal package is 0.25 inches (6.4 mm) shorter than the 1.25 inch (31.8 mm) industry norm. Using the customary 24-pin DIP layout, the units occupy 20% less printed circuit board area than traditional products.
