WORM Flexible Temperature Sensor
Unlike straight temperature sensors, our WORM flexible RTD and thermocouple temperature sensors bend and slide right into a thermowell without having to remove the enclosure or assembly components.

RTD's are stable and have a fairly wide temperature range, but are not as rugged and inexpensive as thermocouples. Since they require the use of electric current to make measurements, RTD's are subject to inaccuracies from self-heating.
An RTD capitalizes on the fact that the electrical resistance of a material changes as its temperature changes. RTD's rely on the resistance change in a metal. The resistance will rise more or less linearly with temperature.
Traditionally, RTD's use a length of conductor (platinum, nickel iron or copper) wound around an insulator. Newer styles use a thin film of the conductor deposited on a ceramic substrate.

The temperature sensors offer also variety at application possibilities for punctual or continuous temperature measurements. It is alike only as sensor or with transducer.

Fast- Response Temperature Sensor with pt1000 Resistor
The fast-response temperature sensor with pt1000 resistor is used for water temperature measurement in hot water supply, solar panels, boiler system etc.
It can be directly mounting in pipe or plate of vessel, the response time is about 1 second.

Screw-in RTD thermometers ET521 and ET522 with replaceable measuring insert and terminal head are preferred for measuring temperatures in liquids and gases. Applications include HVAC and refrigeration, heating installations, ovens, furnaces and plant engineering, as well as process technology.

These RTDs cover the full temperature scale of the international standard EN60751. Precision sensing elements and nickel alloy sheaths are capable of measurements from -200 to 850°C (-328 to 1562°F) with typical ice point drift less than ±0.05°C.
600°C models have stainless steel sheaths for reduced cost. They use the same element structure as 850°C models for excellent accuracy and stability.

You can mount these probes directly in fluid streams for accurate, reliable sensing. Time constant is just 2 seconds, compared to 10 seconds for an ordinary stainless probe or up to 50 seconds for a thermowell. The result is more accurate monitoring of dynamic processes.

Insert these thin, laminated RTDs in winding slots to detect high temperatures before insulation damage occurs. RTD temperature sensors continuously monitor conditions and provide the long term trend data that is necessary for making adjustments before unexpected alarms occur.
The sensing elements of stator RTDs extend through most of the body length to provide an average temperature reading. This eliminates the danger of a point-type sensor missing a localized hot spot. Six sensors are recommended for each motor, two per phase. Locate sensors near the hottest point of the windings for best performance.
Some models comply with European standards for electrical apparatus for potentially explosive atmospheres: ATEX Directive 94/9/EC EN 50 014: 1997, General requirements EN 50 019: 2000, Increased safety.

ET24x series surface temperature sensors are intended for measuring
temperatures on closed pipe systems or other round or flat surfaces.
The sensor can be conveniently fixed with a hose clamp or M3 screw.
Mounting with hose clamps avoids any mechanical preparation of the
measurement site.

The sensing element which is generally small - 2 to 5mm diameter - is attached to a stainless steel mineral insulated cable that can be bent.
Tightness between sensing element and cable is achieved by laser welding or brazing. Connection to the readout instrument is made by a cable, a connecting head or a connector.
