Description
The HR 220 is a benchtop thermoplastic bending machine with a lower heating element, designed for bending sheets of methacrylate, PC, PVC, PS, PP, PET, PMMA and other thermoplastics with a working thickness from 1 to 6 mm. Filament temperature and heating-element height are electronically adjustable via a control unit to ensure precise bends for each material and thickness while minimising the risk of damage. The worktable is heat- and scratch-resistant and includes a parallel back gauge with two rulers. Compact and easy to use, the HR 220 is suitable for universities, technical schools, electrical engineering workshops and prototyping labs.

HR 220 bending machine operation
The HR 220 uses a lower heating line with a height-adjustable filament that heats the sheet from below. Temperature is electronically controlled with high precision, allowing adaptation to each material type and thickness to avoid overheating and unwanted deformation. This control is particularly important for very thin sheets to prevent irreversible damage.

Durable worktable and precision backgauge
The machine features a heat- and scratch-resistant worktable with a parallel backgauge. For very thin sheets, a special bending profile can be fitted to ensure a clean, precise bend.
