The roller press type SPRH is designed to press the joints of cloth and paper wide belts. Its new design permits to the operator the belt joining directly on the machine bottom beam. Even though ideal to process wide belts, this machine can also press narrow belts. The SPRH machine is indicated for converters with medium productions. Technical Data - Maximum joint length: 2,420 mm (SPRH-2500), 3,420 (SPRH-3500), 4,000 (SPRH-4000) - Wide top beam opening, 160 mm from bottom beam, for free operator web handling during joining operation - Bottom press bar heated, up to 80 °C with thermostat, 3 kW - Pressing roller 38 mm wide acting on metal steel plate on grit side, the steel plate could be rubber coated - Pneumatic pressure, adjustable, pressing force 1200 daN at 6 bar - Pneumatic lock and stretcher for quick steel plate replacement - Pressing roller speed variable from 0.1 to 0.6 m/sec - Pressing roller acting area could be limited, in case of narrower joint length - Automatic front lock device - Selector for 1, 2 or 3 pressing cycles, before reopen the front lock (useful for processing sectional belts) - Full automatic cycle: after belt insertion, by foot switch control the belt is clamped, the lock closes and the press roll start the selected cycle.
