OverviewThe BBFM-V150K is an ultrasonic wind speed and direction transducer for 2D and 3D ultrasonic anemometers, meteorological monitoring, ventilation airflow measurement and industrial duct monitoring. Center frequency is 150 kHz ±5% and the reference acoustic path range is 0.12 to 2 m.
Acoustic path and beamA 9° ±10% half-power beam angle at -3 dB supports acoustic-path planning between transducers. The required path geometry should be defined for the target 2D or 3D measurement arrangement.
Transducer arrangement and electronicsFor multi-axis anemometers select transducer spacing and orientation within the 0.12 to 2 m reference range while accounting for the 9° beam angle, airflow path and mechanical clearances. Transmit and receive electronics should match the 240 Ω ±20% minimum impedance and 900 pF ±20% capacitance at 1 kHz. Applied peak voltage must remain <600 Vpp.
Environmental and mechanical integrationOperation is specified from -40 to +80°C, pressure rating up to 16 kgf or 1.6 MPa, and IP68 protection. The stated 75 g ±5% weight applies to the version with a 25 cm cable.
