OverviewVantage UFI ultrafiltration (UF) membrane systems from Evoqua provide modular filtration solutions for removal of suspended solids and organic impurities across industrial water streams. Mid-range configurations (4, 8 and 12-module racks) are sized to treat 13.5–61 m3/h (60–270 gpm). Systems are available as completely skidded packages and can be configured for higher flow requirements.
Benefits- Protect downstream equipment (e.g. RO) by reducing fouling and extending service life
- UF membranes deliver a physical barrier to remove suspended solids and particulates
- Consistent permeate quality regardless of feed-water variability
- Typical SDI values below 2 for improved downstream performance
- Reduced footprint, lower chemical usage and less waste, decreasing operating costs
Features- Modular 4/8/12-module rack configurations for scalable capacity
- UF membranes provide a verifiable, physical separation barrier
- Automated control options: Evoqua or Allen-Bradley packages with HMI touchscreen
- Manual or automatic backwash strainer options
- Completely automated backwash and chemical-enhanced backwash (CEB) capabilities
- VFD-controlled feed pumps for operational ease and energy savings
- Skid-mounted design for short lead time and simplified installation
