Overview
EXAIR’s 2" High Power Flat Super Air Nozzle™ produces a 2" (51 mm) wide, high-volume laminar airstream with a measured blowing force of 2.2 lbs (force measured at 12" from the target). Using EXAIR’s patented design, it maximizes entrained ambient airflow to increase force while reducing noise.

Materials
Zinc-aluminum alloy for general-purpose applications (max temp 250°F / 121°C). Type 316 stainless steel option for high-temperature, corrosive or high-wear environments (max temp 1000°F / 538°C).

Accessories
  • Shim Sets — Model HP1132SS shim set includes .020" (0.51 mm) and .030" (0.76 mm) shims; a .025" (0.64 mm) shim is installed by default.
  • Stay Set Hoses — flexible positioning hoses that retain shape for precise aiming of the airstream.
  • Swivel Fittings — allow adjustment of blowing angle (±25°), available in Type 303 or 316 stainless steel.
  • Magnetic Bases — enable horizontal or vertical mounting and secure the Stay Set Hose; often include a shutoff valve to vary force and flow.

How It Works
Compressed air enters the inlet into a plenum chamber and is directed to a precise slotted orifice. The primary airflow exits the thin slotted nozzle and follows a flat surface to form a uniform sheet of air across the nozzle length. Ambient air is entrained into the primary stream (entrainment ratio approx. 40:1), producing a laminar, high-volume airstream with high force and minimal wind shear.
