The testing transformer, also known as the booster, is a fundamental piece of test equipment used by power stations, electrical supply and distribution systems, and scientific research units. It is utilized for insulation strength testing on various electrical products, equipment, and insulating materials, assessing the insulation level of products, identifying insulation defects, and measuring voltage withstand capacity.
Introducing our state-of-the-art oil immersed high voltage testing transformer, designed to meet the rigorous demands of high voltage testing applications. This transformer is engineered to deliver reliable and accurate performance, making it an essential tool for testing and measuring high voltage equipment and components.
Structure
The transformer is constructed from high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets, available as HZJ alternating current test transformers and HZJZ alternating and direct current amphibious light high voltage test transformers. The winding adopts a concentric pagoda and multilayer cylindrical design, with the low-voltage winding inside and the high-voltage winding outside. The outer cover is portable, featuring compact size, lightweight, attractive appearance, and convenient mobility.
Principle Of Work
The control unit (supplementary equipment, see manual) is connected to a 220V (or above 10KVA, 380V) power supply. The voltage is adjusted from 0-220V/380V and input to the primary winding of the HZJ (HZJZ) test transformer via an autotransformer. According to electromagnetic induction, the secondary (high voltage) winding achieves a voltage proportional to the primary winding, resulting in high-frequency voltage at working frequency. After rectification by a silicon stack and filtering by a capacitor, direct current high-frequency voltage is obtained, with an amplitude twice that of the working frequency. This series includes three types: alternating current (YDJ), alternating and direct current (HZJZ), and the possibility to connect HZJ, HZJZ with a 200V switch for series excitation transformer.
