These lasers operate in the 1.6 μm to 12 μm wavelength range spanning all modes of operation from continuous wave to femtosecond pulsed. Advanced Mid-IR Applications Mid-IR hybrid lasers are ideal for a variety of applications including polymer processing, non-destructive inspection, non-invasive medical diagnosis, laser scalpel, spectroscopy, metrology, remote sensing, imaging and OPO pumping. Compact and Reliable Optical Frequency Combs for Real-World Applications CLPF lasers feature record-breaking conversion efficiency from low-cost continuous-wave Erbium fiber pump lasers to few-cycle femtosecond pulses in the mid-IR spectral range. The resulting frequency combs uniquely combine broad multi-octave mid-IR spectra, Watt-level power, and ultra-low noise. IPG efficient, simple, and compact optical frequency combs are ready for a variety of real-world applications in medical diagnostics, metrology, quantum computing and fundamental research.
