OverviewThe JUMO IPC 300 is an electronic transformer for controlling heating loads using amplitude control. The mains current is proportional to the required power, reducing flicker and network harmonics while extending the service life of MoSi2 and SiC heating elements and lowering operating costs.
Highlights- Reduction of reactive power
- Lower electricity and operating costs
- Increased plant availability
General technical dataPower rating: up to 40 kW
Operating mode: Amplitude control
Subordinate control loops: U², P, I²
Analog outputs: 0(4) to 20 mA, 0(2) to 10 V or 0(1) to 5 V
Display: LCD with plain-text display
Operation: On-device keypad
Configuration: Setup program with parameter transfer via USB (USB powered, parameter transfer without voltage supply)
Protective functions: Short-circuit control during activation; r-control; integrated semiconductor fuses; ground-fault protection
Interfaces: PROFINET, Modbus-RTU
Special features: Gentle mains operation with high-powered resistive loads (flicker reduction); minimal harmonics; aging compensation for SiC rods with voltage-reserve indication; control independent of heating element resistance characteristic; protection of MoSi2 elements against overheating
Dimensions: 348.6 × 300 × 217 mm or 403.5 × 300 × 257.5 mm
Additional informationIncludes analog outputs and digital interfaces (PROFINET, Modbus-RTU) for integration into automation systems. Configuration via USB-powered setup program. Designed to reduce network interference and extend heating element life.
