The MAP4-34RJ-TCP measurement units allow for complete and precise measurement of 4 three-phase circuits or 12 single-phase circuits.
- Measurements: The unit can measure up to 12 single-phase circuits or 4 three-phase or tetra circuits.
➞ Current measurement: via Enerclip current transformers with RJ12 connectors.
➞ Voltage measurement: direct or via voltage transformers.
- Accuracy: Active energy measurement class 0.5S.
- Electrical: Auxiliary power supply 80 … 270 VAC.
- Physical: 70 mm wide housing (4 modules), DIN rail mountable.
Backlit LCD display with 3 display lines.
Connection via RJ12 ports or removable screw terminals.
- Communication: Pulse emitter on active energy.
Modbus TCP/IP via RJ45 Ethernet port.
Modbus RTU via RS485 port.
- Inputs and outputs: The MAP4-34RJ-IO-TCP model is equipped with 4 digital inputs and 2 programmable relay outputs.
- Multi-measurement: Measurement of main electrical quantities for detailed circuit analysis: active and reactive energies ┃ imported and exported ┃ voltage, current ┃ active, reactive, and apparent powers ┃ power factor ┃ frequency ┃ demands, ┃ extreme values ┃ imbalances ┃ harmonics up to the 31st order ┃ and more…
- Circuit control and alarms: The 2 relays of the MAP4-34RJ-IO-TCP model are programmable for minimum or maximum thresholds of current, voltage, power, phase imbalance, etc., allowing:
➞ to protect electrical circuits
➞ to perform alarm functions in case of failure or inappropriate signal
➞ to perform automatic load shedding in case of overload.
- Status reporting of electrical circuits: The 4 digital inputs of the MAP4-34RJ-IO-TCP model allow monitoring the status of auxiliary circuits or devices and alerting in case of failure or circuit interruption.
- Data recording: Energy and power indexes are recorded at a programmable frequency in steps of 1 minute. The unit's recording capacity is 16,000 data lines. Recorded data can be viewed via software and exported in .csv format.
- Compactness: Allows analysis of 4 three-phase or 12 single-phase circuits on a single device with a width of 4 modules.
- Ease of installation: Connecting CTs via RJ12 cable reduces wiring time and eliminates risk of error.
Opening current sensors allow installation without disconnecting the measured circuit.
- One Modbus address per device: A single Modbus address for measurements of 4 three-phase or 12 single-phase circuits allows multiplying the number of measured circuits per RS485 loop.
- Supervision: Measurement visualization on scrolling display or via comprehensive software provided free of charge.
- Applications: The compact housing and easy integration make it the ideal measuring instrument for adding measurement points for branch circuits in existing electrical panels.
The MAP4-34RJ measurement unit is mainly deployed for compliance with tertiary or BACS decrees.
