Description

The MSC-N2 module is a high-performance measurement center in a 1-module housing: - Measurements: The measurement center allows measuring 1 three-phase circuit or 3 single-phase circuits. ➞ Current measurement: via Enerclip current transformers with RJ12 connection. ➞ Voltage measurement: direct or via voltage transformers. - Precision: Active energy measurement class 0.5S. - Electrical: Self-powered on the measured circuit. - Physical: 18mm width housing (1 module), clip-on DIN rail. Connection via RJ12 ports or detachable screw terminals. - Communication: Programmable output as relay output or pulse emitter on active energy. Modbus RTU on RS485 port (2 terminals A and 2 terminals B). - Inputs and outputs: The measurement center is equipped with one relay output and 2 programmable digital inputs. - Multi-measurement: Measurement of main electrical quantities for detailed circuit analysis: active and reactive energies in multi-tariffs with MSC-C1 module ┃ imported and exported ┃ voltage, current ┃ active powers ┃ reactive and apparent powers ┃ power factor ┃ frequency ┃ demands, ┃ extreme values ┃ imbalances ┃ harmonics up to the 63rd order | and many more … - Circuit control and alarms: The MSC-N1 counter relay is programmable on reaching minimum or maximum thresholds of current, voltage, power, phase imbalance, … allowing: ➞ to protect electrical circuits ➞ to perform alarm functions in case of failure or inappropriate signal ➞ to perform automatic load shedding in case of overload. - Circuit status feedback: The 2 digital inputs allow knowing the status of auxiliary circuits or electrical devices and alerting in case of failure or circuit break. - Pulse counters: The 2 digital inputs can be set as pulse counters, to report in Modbus the consumption of gas or water meters equipped with pulse emitters. - Compactness: 1 module width housing. - Ease of installation: Connecting the CTs via RJ12 cable reduces wiring time and avoids any risk of error. Opening current sensors allow installation without disconnecting the measured circuit. - Supervision: Data reading and programming on the optional MSC-DE display or using the free software provided. - Applications: The compactness of the housing and ease of integration make it the ideal measuring instrument for adding measurement points of sub-circuits in existing electrical cabinets. The Enerclip multi-circuit measurement solution is mainly deployed for compliance with tertiary or Bacs decrees. - Conformities: CE, RoHS, REACh. - Enerclip Solution: Current transformers type: - Closed CTs: MSC-TCF - Open CTs: MSC-TCO - Rogowski loops: MSC-TCR Flush-mounted display MSC-DE associated with the communication module MSC-C1. - Technical notebooks: - Electrical measurement units - Understanding harmonic disturbances - Negative energy problem: diagnosis and technical solutions - Articles: - Enerclip multi-departure solutions - Characteristics / Technical specifications: - Measure 1 three-phase circuit or 3 single-phase circuits - Current measurement via Enerclip CT RJ12 - Direct voltage measurement or via transformers - Precision class 0.5S - Self-powered on measured circuit - 18mm housing (1 module), DIN rail - RJ12 connection or detachable screw terminals - Programmable relay output or pulse emitter - Modbus RTU RS485 (2 terminals A, 2 terminals B) - 1 relay output, 2 programmable digital inputs - Reading/programming via optional display or software - CE, RoHS, REACh compliance
