The CB8 automatic coring and slicing machine is dedicated to cutting apples into wedges.
The system consists of a tray for collecting apples, followed by an automatic orienting device and a system of punches that transport the apple to the cutting station. In the final stage, the apple is cut into wedges thanks to a pad that pushes the fruit onto the die, allowing the cutting and separation of the core onto a dedicated conveyor belt.
