The machine can de-stem and slice apples, pears and peaches.
The frame is made of welded tubular sections and is on wheels (with brake) for easy movement. Adjustable feet can be supplied instead of wheels on request.
The machine consists of several synchronized mechanisms. The first is a rotating plate with 8 fruit stations that moves step-by-step, allowing the operator to load two fruits at a time into the seats.
The second mechanism is a structure that moves up and down by a pneumatic piston and drives the rotation of two de-stemming tubes via an electric motor. The de-stemming tubes are interchangeable.
Another mechanism, also driven up and down by a pneumatic piston, has pushers that push the fruit through the membranes, placing them onto small steel shafts that support them.
The final step is slicing into rounds, located below the loading level: from the shafts the fruits move by gravity into contact with the blades of a rotating plate and are sliced into rounds.
The loading plate indexes step-by-step and runs at a speed chosen by the customer: when the plate stops, the three operations occur simultaneously — the operator loads the fruit and the two mechanisms perform de-stemming and cutting.
The machine is equipped with:
• Stainless-steel waste chute;
• Elevator conveyor for the cut product.
