The machine is designed to cut cherry tomatoes into halves and quarters.
Round product is loaded into a hopper and, via a belt elevator with alternating slats, is carried to the loading conveyor (with cleats) that lines up the tomatoes and transfers them to the cutting station.
The cutting unit has four rotating circular blades that, driven together, cut into quarters. A lever mechanism moves two blades to obtain the cut in halves.
A product discharge belt below the cutting station collects the product easily.
All parts in contact with the product are suitable for hygienic and food use.
The machine has a stainless-steel frame and a stainless-steel electrical cabinet.
The structure is made of welded tubular sections and is on wheels (with brake) for easy movement. Adjustable feet can be supplied instead of wheels on request.
The machine is equipped with:
- No. 01 belt elevator with hopper for loading cherry tomatoes;
- No. 01 conveyor belt for cut product, standard size: 1500×330 mm
