Description

Overview
The CCD-70 visual counting machine uses CCD cameras to detect and count tablets, capsules or similar items on a conveyor. The system captures images, analyses shape, size and color against programmed criteria, counts each item and flags defects such as double items, broken pieces or missing units for rejection or correction.

How it works
  • Optical detection: CCD cameras capture high-contrast images of items moving on the conveyor and distinguish objects by size, shape and color.
  • Counting mechanism: Image-analysis software identifies and counts each item, comparing results with pre-set batch targets.
  • Error detection: The system flags doubles, fragments, contaminants or missing items and triggers rejection or diversion mechanisms.
