OverviewMachine designed to insert desiccant packets into pharmaceutical and other packaging to control moisture and preserve product integrity. Handles desiccant supplied as a continuous roll, cuts individual packets, detects packet position, conveys separated packets and inserts them into bottles, boxes or other containers via guides or chutes.
Working principle- Continuous roll feed of desiccant into the machine
- Optical or mechanical sensors detect packet position for accurate cutting and insertion
- Cutting mechanism (rotary cutter or blade) separates individual packets
- Separated packets conveyed via belts or guides to the insertion point
- Guiding chutes or funnels direct packets into bottles or containers
How it worksThe machine cuts the desiccant web into individual sachets and places them accurately into bottles or boxes on the production line. Synchronisation with the packaging line timing ensures insertion at the correct moment.
Main features & controlPLC control with HMI for parameter setting, monitoring and diagnostics. Sensors verify insertion; missing or misaligned packets trigger alarms and optional rejection. Safety guards and emergency stop protect operators. Settings are adjustable for packet size and line speed.
