Description

GP 400 SF S Control - 400 Hz Control Cable for Passenger Boarding Bridges and Festoon SystemsThe GP 400 SF S Control is a high-quality 400 Hz control cable, specifically designed for use in festoon systems and drag chains on passenger boarding bridges. Its outstanding flexibility and torsion resistance up to ±60°/m make it ideal for dynamic, moving applications in airport environments. The cable is cold flexible down to -40 °C, halogen-free, and highly resistant to weather, fuels, and UV radiation. The durable SABIX® outer sheath ensures long-term protection against oil, ozone, and mechanical stress. It is also flame-retardant and self-extinguishing in accordance with IEC 60332-3-24 and other international safety standards. With its symmetrical structure and high visibility in yellow, the GP 400 SF S Control is easy to install and safe to operate - even in tight bending spaces. This makes it an ideal choice for long-term use in exposed, high-mobility airport applications.Low capacity insulationCold flexibleHalogen freeTorsion resistantGood ozone, sunlight and weather resistanceGood oil and fuel resistanceNo flame propagationFlame retardant and self-extinguishingGood acid and alkalines resistanceConductorBare copper strands, fine wires acc. to IEC 60228 class 5InsulationSABIX®Colour codeBlack with numbers 1 - 24StrandingCores twisted to pairs, pairs stranded in layers, wrapped with non-woven tape.
