Description

Introduction
The ZR linear‑rotary actuator (LRA series) is a highly integrated 2‑D motion module combining Z‑axis linear lift and ±360° R‑axis rotation. It couples a direct‑drive linear motor for precise linear motion with a servo‑driven rotary axis to enable synchronized compound moves such as lift, rotate and angle calibration for high‑precision pick‑and‑place and precision assembly applications.

Features
  • Ultra‑thin Z+R integration: compact form factor simplifies system design and maintenance.
  • Accurate force control: direct‑drive linear motor with motion control algorithms; laboratory results report ±3G deviation on repeat force control under matched conditions.
  • Linear + rotary coordination: supports high‑speed pick‑and‑place with real‑time force and position monitoring and adjustment.
  • Micron‑level positioning: linear optical encoder (0.1–0.2 μm typical) and 17‑bit rotary encoder (resolution 131072) for repeatable placement and misalignment avoidance.
  • Intelligent soft‑landing: precise force control enables gentle contact—suitable for semiconductor chip packaging and delicate assembly.

Notes
All stated force‑control repeatability and precision figures are laboratory results and depend on system configuration, matching drive and operating conditions. For selection, provide required stroke, force range and interface specifications to ensure correct model and drive pairing.
