Cyclones use the effects of centrifugal force and gravity to separate particles in suspension in gas. The geometry of cyclones is a determining factor in obtaining high efficiency. Various physical properties such as: temperature, composition and viscosity of the gas, shape, granulometry, relative density of the particles, concentration of dust need to be taken into account when defining their efficiency.
To deal with special problems, we offer special constructions: apparatus for high pressure or high negative pressure, with protection against abrasion, with heating of the body

The High Efficiency Cyclone Separator / Dust Collector
The Filter 1 Cyclotron combines a long tapered cone, a high velocity inlet, and a large internal helix to easily separate from the air stream all moderate size particles, such as saw dust chips and particles from metal grinding. The Cyclotron fans are positioned on the clean air side of the cyclone and are direct drive for low maintenence. In addition, the fans have backward inclined blower wheels for high efficiency and low noise operation. Optional Safety After Filters ensure that even the smallest particles are captured. Standard filter material for the after-filters is 16-ounce seared, felted polyester, designed to hold large dust particles to the outer edges, thus forming a filter cake which heightens filtering efficiency and facilitates easy removal.

Cyclone Dust Collectors are the most basic dust collectors
suitable for the collection of not-so-fine dusts.
The advantages are:
- If the process generates sparks, no problems because there is no combustible item such as filters, etc.
- If the dust/ chips are hot, it can handle safely
- There are no consumable items such as filters
- The operating cost is low
- No need to clean filters
- Low maintenance
- Very reliable

The JETLINE® CH is a pocket filter with automatic compressed air pulse jet cleaning.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
- The dust-laden air passes through the needlefelt pockets from the outside to the inside, depositing the dust on the outer face of the filter media.
- The clean air is then exhausted from the filter.
- Blowing a very short blast of compressed air into the filter pocket via the venturi cleans the filter media.
- The sudden change in shape of the pocket due to its rapid inflation causes the collected dust to fall off the filter media into the hopper.
- The electronic sequencer controls the cleaning cycle. The time of the impulse of compressed air is regulated to obtain the optimal cleaning cycle.

In industry, explosive organic dust is aspired. The units of de-dusting, in accordance with the new règlemnetations must be equipped with protective systems of rather expensive explosion. PharmEx is conceived so as to be able to treat the organic poussères having a maximum explosive pressure Pmax 10 bars and Kst of 250 barm/s. Of reinforced construction, it required not anti-explosion constructive protection.

Blasting Range - Wet Dust Collector
Designed to meet the most severe environmental standards, it is adequate for all applications in which the residue or the collected dust do not have to be kept dry, as well as for gasses. It is especially indicated for applications in which there is the risk of an explosion or that have wet particles, such as, for example, the aluminum dusts and the liquid paint residues.
Since it features an automatic residue discharging system, it is indicated for applications in which the volume of dust or residues is large. It is certainly the equipment with the lowest operational cost in existence on the market, since the filtering element is the water itself, which remains in a closed circuit, and is consumed only by evaporation or by absorption.
The collector is built in a welded structure that is coated with a highly corrosion resistant paint. The conveyor that removes the residues that settle, by drowning them in the dust collector, is built in stainless steel and is driven by a gear motor with permanent lubrication, which grants great durability to the assembly. In a few cases, such as for example, liquid paint residues, it is indispensable to add to the water products that cause the decanting. We always recommend adding anti-oxidants to the water. In some applications such as, for example, blasting it is indispensable.

The DCCM series is Airex Industries' answer to situations that only demand the temporary use of a dust collector such as during field work. They are referred to as mobile dust collectors. The mobile dust collector is essentially a DCC Series dust collector on wheels.
The DCCM series of dust collectors come assembled on a trailer which have a hook [subject to changes depending on the size and weight of the dust collector] for towing as well as adjustable support legs for stabilisation when the system isn't in transit.
The Airex Industries line of cartridge type dust collectors offer extremely efficient economical systems due to the continuous venturi assisted reverse pulse jet cleaning system. The system allows on line cleaning without significant loading thus maintaining constant internal static pressure levels.
