Overview
The Amphenol Socapex USBF TV is a range of reinforced USB 2.0 connectors designed for harsh environments. Based on the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III platform, USBF TV connectors provide a rugged, threaded-coupling USB interface offering enhanced EMI protection, mechanical reliability and environmental sealing for military and industrial applications.

Product details
The USBF TV family delivers improved EMI protection through a metallized insert and full shielding continuity from cable to receptacle and panel. The tri-start thread coupling includes an anti-decoupling device to avoid accidental disconnection. Shell size offered (example in range): size 15. Typical USBF TV implementations transmit USB 2.0 data rates (up to 480 Mb/s) while mechanical and environmental qualifications cover resistance to shock, vibration and humidity. Operational temperature range: -40°C to +85°C. USB Field option enables insertion of a standard USB 2.0 cordset into a metallic plug for reinforced protection against shocks, dust and fluids.
