The Amphenol SL61 connector, also known as Socapex or Soca in the entertainment industry, is a circular multi-contact connector for I/O and power distribution in industrial and entertainment applications. Introduced in 1961, the SL61 series is widely used for stage lighting and dimmer-box power connections. The series offers multiple housing sizes and contact arrangements; RoHS-compliant variants are available. Major product obsolescence was announced in November 2018 (see PCN references below).
