OverviewThermostat-controlled High Temperature Cabinet Cooler® Systems for ambient conditions from 125°F to 200°F (52°C to 93°C). These NEMA 4 (IP66) units incorporate low-pressure relief valves for both the vortex tube and cabinet exhaust; valves close when the cooler is not operating to preserve enclosure integrity. Standard thermostat control activates the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels; factory set at 95°F (35°C) and adjustable. EXAIR Cabinet Coolers convert compressed air to cold air via a vortex tube with no moving parts and install through a standard electrical knockout. All units are UL Listed and CE compliant.

How It WorksCompressed air enters the vortex-tube powered Cabinet Cooler and separates into hot and cold streams. Hot air is exhausted to atmosphere; cold air is directed into the control cabinet via a cold air distribution kit. The cabinet is cooled and purged at slight positive pressure, preventing ingress of outside air while removing internal heat.
Accessories & Options- Side Mount Kits: allow side mounting when top mount is not possible; maintain NEMA rating and fit a standard 1-1/2 NPS electrical knockout. NEMA 4/4X side mount kits are stainless steel.
- Cold Air Distribution Kit: tubing, clips and fittings to direct cold air to hotspots.
- Filtration: includes a 5 micron automatic drain water and dirt filter; coalescing (oil removal) filters recommended if inlet air contains oil.
- Control options: Standard thermostat control (factory set at 95°F / 35°C) or ETC (Electronic Temperature Control) upgrade for precise digital control and internal temperature feedback.
- Solenoid voltages: 120V 60Hz, 110V 50Hz, 240V 50/60Hz and 24VDC; solenoids are UL/CSA listed or recognized.
