Overview EXAIR Cabinet Cooler® Systems HT47 series provide NEMA 4 (IP66) rated cooling and purge for electrical enclosures in high ambient temperatures (125°F to 200°F / 52°C to 93°C). Available in multiple capacities, HT47 systems use a vortex tube to generate cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. Continuous-operation systems include the Cabinet Cooler, a cold air distribution kit and a 5 micron automatic drain filter; they incorporate a low-pressure relief valve for vortex and exhaust to preserve NEMA 4 integrity when idle.

Filtration Systems include a 5 micron automatic drain water-and-dirt filter to protect electronics from moisture and particulate in the compressed air. If oil is present in the supply, add a coalescing (oil removal) filter.
Cold Air Distribution Kit Kit contains flexible tubing, connectors and adhesive-backed clips to route cold air inside the cabinet or to targeted hot spots for uniform temperature control.
Inlet Air Temperature and Cooling Drop Typical temperature drop is 54°F (30°C) from supply air temperature at 100 PSIG (6.9 BAR). Higher inlet temperatures or lower supply pressure will reduce cooling capacity.
Mounting Cabinet Cooler mounts through a drilled hole or standard electrical knockout. NEMA 4 and 4X systems can be top-mounted or side-mounted using a Side Mount Kit while preserving the enclosure rating.
Solenoid Valve, Thermostat and ETC (Electronic Temperature Control) Continuous systems include cooler, distribution kit and filter. Thermostat-controlled variants add a solenoid valve and thermostat to limit compressed air use; thermostatic systems are UL/CSA approved in multiple voltages. The ETC digital controller offers precise setpoint control, display and solenoid activation (sold in systems or separately).
What is an EXAIR Cabinet Cooler® System? EXAIR Cabinet Coolers convert compressed air into clean, cold air using a vortex tube with no moving parts to deliver reliable, maintenance-free cooling and purge for electrical enclosures.
