Description
EXAIR NEMA 4X (IP66) High Temperature Cabinet Cooler® Systems provide enclosure cooling for ambient temperatures from 125°F to 200°F (52°C to 93°C). Constructed in Type 303 or Type 316 stainless steel for food-service and corrosive environments, these continuous-operation systems include a Cabinet Cooler, cold air distribution kit and a 5-micron automatic drain filter. All units are UL listed and CE compliant. The Cabinet Cooler uses a vortex tube to generate cold air from compressed air with no moving parts and installs through a standard electrical knockout in minutes. NEMA 4X continuous systems are recommended where constant cooling and a positive purge are required.

Performance summary
Cooling capacities are rated at 100 PSIG (6.9 BAR) supply pressure. Sound levels vary by model (examples: HT4715SS ≈ 73 dBA; HT4725SS ≈ 80 dBA; HT4780SS ≈ 85 dBA). Continuous systems include the cooler, filter separator and cold air distribution kit. Thermostat-control systems add a thermostat, solenoid valve and, when specified, Electronic Temperature Control (ETC™).

How it works
Compressed air enters the vortex-tube-powered Cabinet Cooler and is separated into hot and cold streams. Cold air is directed into the enclosure via the cold air distribution kit while hot air is exhausted. The system cools the enclosure and provides a slight positive purge to prevent ingress of outside air.
