Overview
NEMA 4X thermostat control systems operate Cabinet Cooler® units only when internal temperatures approach set limits, reducing compressed air use. Standard thermostat control is factory set at 95°F (35°C) and typically maintains ±2°F (±1°C) inside the enclosure. NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Coolers are built in stainless steel for food-service and corrosive environments. EXAIR Cabinet Coolers use a vortex tube to generate cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. Compact design allows installation through a standard electrical knockout. NEMA 4X systems include a low-pressure relief valve on the vortex tube and cabinet exhaust to preserve enclosure integrity when the cooler is off. Units are offered in multiple cooling capacities for small and large control panels. All models are UL Listed and CE compliant.
