Overview
JCT offers vertical high‑viscosity kneaders designed for processing ceramic matrix composites (CMCs), silicon carbide and resin precursors. The top‑mounted bearing removes metal contact with the product and prevents shaft‑seal leakage. The machines support high‑vacuum degassing, optional wear‑resistant coatings, precise temperature control and high‑torque planetary kneading. Models cover laboratory to large production capacities (VK series).

Product Details
Ceramic matrix composites (CMCs) consist of a ceramic matrix reinforced with fibers, whiskers, platelets or particles made of ceramics, carbon or refractory metals. In powder‑metallurgy routes for specialty ceramics, matrix powders are mixed with reinforcements and a binder, cold‑pressed or hot‑pressed and sintered to obtain the final composite. The VK vertical kneader is engineered to uniformly process ultra‑high viscosity compounds while minimizing contamination and material loss.
