Product OverviewElectronic thermal interface material vertical kneader is an intelligent mixing solution developed by JCT for high‑viscosity, high‑solid‑content thermally conductive composites used in electronics. The system is designed to address extreme viscosity, high filler loading, temperature sensitivity, air entrapment, strict metal‑contamination limits and electrical insulation requirements.
Material & Process DescriptionThermally conductive electronic materials are polymer‑based composites made by uniformly dispersing thermally conductive fillers into a polymer matrix (e.g., silicone rubber). They are supplied as pastes, pads, films or solid compounds and include thermal grease, thermal pastes, phase‑change materials, thermal pads and thermally conductive insulators. Filler intrinsic conductivity, filler loading and uniform dispersion determine final thermal performance.
Key Features- Drive and sealing systems located entirely above the material zone to ensure physical isolation and zero metal contamination risk.
- Capable of processing extremely high viscosities — up to 20,000,000 cP.
- Optional ultra wear‑resistant coatings (tungsten carbide (WC), PTFE, silicon nitride) on blades and barrel interior to resist abrasion from hard inorganic fillers while preserving electrical insulation.
- Planetary/pericentric mixing action eliminates dead zones and ensures uniform dispersion and product consistency.
- Supports very high solid loading (up to 96%) to maximize thermal conductivity of the final product.
- Multiple interchangeable mixing vessels for fast changeover, easy discharge and efficient cleaning.
