Product overviewThe Valley beater 5036-HD is a laboratory machine for pulping and refining fiber materials. It uses a flying knife roller and a bottom knife to cut, crush, rub and refine various plant, synthetic and recycled fibers, producing controlled deformation and rupture of fibre cell walls. By adjusting bottom-knife pressure and beating time (1–999 min, selectable time units) the unit delivers reproducible pulps for evaluation of sheet properties and process development. The machine supports automatic timing and bottom-knife high-pressure cleaning.
Applications- Beating tests on plant fibres (wood, non-wood pulps)
- Testing of synthetic fibres, carbon fibre and glass fibre blends
- Pulping trials for papermaking production testing, quality control, process formulation, teaching and research
Test Standards- ISO 5264/I
- TAPPI T200
- GB/T 24325-2009 Pulps - laboratory beating - Valley beater method
