Product DescriptionThe pulp water retention value tester is designed to determine the water retention value (WRV) of various pulp samples by controlled dewatering and centrifugation according to relevant standards.
Operation PrincipleA test pad of pulp fibres is formed by dewatering a pulp suspension on a glass-fibre filter. The test pad is centrifuged at a specified centrifugal force and time, weighed wet, dried, and weighed again. WRV is calculated from the wet mass after centrifugation and the dry mass of the test pad.
Test StandardApplicable standards: ISO 23714; TAPPI T256; GB/T 29286-2012 (Determination of water retention value of pulp).
Product Advantages- Controlled compliance: Rotor and dewatering vessel meet ISO 23714 requirements to ensure reproducible test conditions.
- Cost-effective sourcing: Designed for reliable laboratory operation with attention to total cost of ownership.
- In-house QC: Quality control inspections during production and pre-shipment inspection (AQL) ensure consistent delivery.
- Industrial design: Aluminum alloy dewatering vessel and robust centrifuge components for laboratory and pilot-plant use.
