Testing the DC resistance of a transformer is a mandatory procedure during the ex-factory inspection of semi-finished and final products, as well as during installation, acceptance testing, and preventive maintenance conducted by the electric power department. This test effectively identifies manufacturing defects such as improper material selection for transformer coils, poor welding, loose connections, missing strands, and broken wires, as well as potential issues that may arise after operation. To meet the demand for rapid measurement of transformer DC resistance, our company has developed a new generation of DC resistance testers based on our technological expertise. This instrument incorporates advanced power technology and is characterized by its compact size, lightweight design, and high output current. The device is controlled by a microcontroller, which enables automatic self-inspection, data processing, and display functions. It also features automatic discharge and audible alarm indications.
