To meet the need for rapid measurement of transformer DC resistance, our company has developed a large-scale power transformer DC resistance tester that integrates Three-Phase simultaneous testing, Magnetic Augment Function, and Degauss Function into a single unit. This tester features simultaneous three-phase power-on, independent current and voltage sampling, and the ability to simultaneously measure and display three-phase resistance and the three-phase unbalance rate. These capabilities significantly reduce the testing time for transformer DC resistance and address the issue of long measurement times typically required for the DC resistance of each tap winding in power transformers.
Functional Characteristics
1.The tester can automatically select the corresponding output current value based on the test product and is primarily designed for measuring the inductive DC resistance of transformers.
2.For large transformers with a five-leg core and low-voltage windings connected in delta, the tester can be used in HV & LV series excitation mode. The magnetic augment circuit for the windings .can be automatically connected, enabling quick and accurate testing of the low-voltage windings' DC resistance.
3.The tester features a Three-Phase Test function, allowing for the synchronous measurement of the three-phase DC resistance of star-connected windings and the automatic calculation of the three-phase unbalance rate. This significantly reduces the measurement time and improves test efficiency. The phase-by-phase test function can also be used for transformers with YN and D (Y) connections.
