The DC winding resistance test is required during transformer production, installation, commissioning and preventive inspections. It detects faulty welds, loose connections, missing units, open circuits and other manufacturing defects or hidden faults after operation. The HZ-3100A is a compact, high‑output DC winding resistance tester designed for fast, accurate measurements on power and instrument transformers. The instrument is microcontroller‑controlled and provides automatic discharge, high automation and user safeguards.
