The HZTTR80A Transformer Ratio Tester is a fully automatic and portable instrument for measuring transformer turn ratio, voltage ratio, vector group, polarity, winding connections, tap positions, and excitation current. Both the tester and accessories are stored in a durable engineering plastic case resistant to water, dust, impact, heat, and cold, making it ideal for field use.
It tests single-phase and three-phase transformers, with or without taps. Blind testing enables recognition of unknown vector groups and phase relationships, while the device also supports autotransformers, Z-type, and phase-shifting transformers.
Control is simplified via an Android app for wireless operation, storage, and data upload. Features include graphical display, simultaneous three-phase ratio measurement for faster testing, and flexible tap settings for both high- and low-voltage sides.
