To meet the requirement for rapid DC resistance measurement of transformers, our company has developed a three-channel DC resistance tester specifically designed for YN-connected windings. The tester offers several advanced features, including simultaneous energization of all three phases, independent current and voltage sampling, and the ability to simultaneously measure and display the three-phase resistance values and the three-phase unbalance rate. This significantly reduces the test time required for measuring the DC resistance of transformers and addresses the issue of long test durations for each tapped winding of electric power transformers. The tester requires only one-third of the time compared to traditional methods.
Functional Characteristics
1.The tester can automatically select the appropriate output current based on the test product and is primarily designed for measuring the inductive DC resistance of transformers.
2.For large transformers with a five-leg core and delta-connected low-voltage windings, the tester can operate in both HV and LV series excitation modes. The magnetic augment circuit for the windings is automatically connected, allowing for quick and accurate testing of the DC resistance in the low-voltage windings.
3.The tester features a Three-Phase Test function, enabling simultaneous measurement of the three-phase DC resistance of star-connected windings and automatic calculation of the three-phase unbalance rate. This greatly reduces measurement time and improves test efficiency. It also includes a phase-by-phase test function for transformers with YN and D (Y) connections.
